Hey all. :) Can't stay on long here, but I just wanted to say...THE OREGANO GARLIC TEA totally worked...Honestly I only drank like 2 cups of it, but really I believe that if I would have taken more, it would have totally knocked the cold that day. So yep, Moms know what they're doing. :) It's usually the grossest natural remedies that work the best. :)
P.S. I also just wanted to say; Thanks "Emily Rose" for your comment on my last post:
"Hi. I enjoy your blog. I agree, our mothers can come up with the most, ummm, uh, Unusual (in italics) herbal concoctions. Fortunately, none I have tried have killed me yet. They just taste very strange. :) I am thankful for my Mother, though, because she knows what to do to help me feel better when I am sick, without using drugs/pharmacuetical (spelling?) stuff.
Keep Writing!" - Emily Rose
I totally agree with that..because those things like antibiotics and Tylenol, etc that most people take when they are sick don't really help and also give us some pretty bad side effects...and I can definitely say that from my own bad experiences! That's why it's best to eat healthy and take care of our bodies and take healthful herbs is the best medicine. Good food is our true medicine. They not only help us get better with whatever sickness we have, but also give us other wonderful health benefits with no harmful side effects!

I was wondering if you could post the recipe for the Hummingbird Cake and Cranberry Coffee Cake? They both looked delicious! I completely agree about not wanting to take all your over-the-counter medicines. Natural medicines are the best place to start.
Hello, and yes I haven't forgotten about that request. :) I can post the recipe for the hummingbird cake, but I don't remember the recipe for the cranberry coffee cake. It was one of my "experiments" a couple years back and shame on me for not writing the recipe down! :( I apologize for any inconvenience. But I will gladly post the Hummingbird cake recipe on my next post hopefully. :) Thanks for reminding me. God Bless.
